Time for a Change… October 28, 2006

Ok, so I had every intention of turning this into my “private” site where I remained anonymous.  Hence the cheeseball address of privatemama.  I specifically chose it because it sounded nothing like something I would ever pick.  So then I decided to go with “Gimme Some Privacy” as my title to go along with the whole privacy theme I thought I had going.  Except I realized that it’s not going to be able to stay private because whenever I post it says posted by Whitneyf1980.  Um, yeah.  That’s me.  If anyone randomly comes across this site and they actually know me, they will automatically know it’s me doing all this “private” blogging.  It’s my user name for everything.  Every where.  I’m ridiculous.

 Anyways, so much for the whole privacy thing.  I just wanted to try out something different.  I have having the wordpress.com thing attached to my domain name since I have a perfectly good paid for domain name but I had to do something to get away from all the ridiculous spam comments I was getting on my other site.  I don’t know if this site is going to stick.  I don’t know if I’m even going to tell anyone about this site.  It’s just that Word Press has a lot of things that I want (i.e. password protected posts, spam blocker, etc.)  So, here I am.  Giving it the ol’ college try.  Or whatever.  (What does that saying even mean?  Is it because so many people drop out of college?  What?)  We’ll see how things go.  And hopefully before it’s all over, I’ll come up with a name that’s not so gay.

Edited to add:  I came up with a different title that I think suits me better because my life right now constantly has situations come up that have me saying “I mean, seriously?”  I thought it fit.
